Plus de Charlie*
I did not get up early today to buy Charlie Hebdo** but I plan to pick one up when they are more widely available. What struck me as I made a half-hearted attempt to get my hands on a copy was that nowhere was today’s cover to be seen. Usually, when the new addition comes out newsstands have poster-sized versions of the cover prominently displayed in their front windows or on the sides of their kiosks. Not today. Were the posters not printed this week? Or perhaps, a desire on the part of news-sellers not to offend? Simply no need to advertise?
